Fitted to the AM20, which has 20° vertical coverage, it creates an 80° x 20° pattern, so the coverage of a module can be changed on site without replacing the loudspeaker. It is made for integrators and sound designers working on stadium, arena and outdoor venue systems in the UAE.

What is the Bose ArenaMatch AMWG2080?

The Bose ArenaMatch AMWG2080 is the 80° horizontal waveguide that Bose calibrates for the ArenaMatch AM20 module. It replaces the waveguides fitted at the factory, so an AM20 supplied with a different horizontal pattern can be changed to 80°. Bose offers 60°, 80° and 100° horizontal waveguides for this module.

Key Features

Calibrated for one module: Each ArenaMatch waveguide is calibrated for a specific loudspeaker module, and the AMWG2080 is the 80° option for the AM20.

80° horizontal coverage: Fitting the waveguide gives the AM20 an 80° horizontal pattern, one of the three horizontal options Bose offers for this module.

Replaceable waveguides: Bose designs the ArenaMatch AM20 so that its horizontal coverage can be changed by swapping waveguides, without replacing the loudspeaker module.

Asymmetrical array patterns: Mixing waveguides lets designers customise coverage module by module and form asymmetrical patterns in left and right arrays.

Applications

Stadium and arena arrays: Sets the horizontal coverage of AM20 modules to match the width of the seating area each module serves.

Outdoor entertainment and hospitality venues: Adapts AM20 modules used at outdoor restaurants, bars and entertainment areas to the shape of the audience area.

Retrofits and recommissioning: Lets an installed AM20 array be re-aimed for a changed seating layout without buying new modules.

Technical Specifications

Model

AMWG2080

Compatible Models

Bose ArenaMatch AM20 DeltaQ array module

Horizontal Coverage

80°

Vertical Coverage

20° (set by the AM20 module)

Coverage Pattern

80° x 20° (AM20/80)

Maximum SPL

127 dB at 1 m, passive (AM20/80, calculated)

Sensitivity

98 dB SPL, 1 W at 1 m, passive (AM20/80)

Mounting

Replaces the factory-installed waveguides behind the grille

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0975/3224/8429/files/bose-amwg2080-waveguide-illustration.jpg?v=1793268752
