What is the Biamp DX-S5-B?
The Biamp Desono DX-S5-B is a black passive surface-mount coaxial speaker for installed commercial audio. Its 5-inch LF / 1-inch HF arrangement provides 130° × 125° nominal coverage for speech and music. The standard version uses a ClickMount pan-tilt bracket. Corporate AV can help specify the equipment and setup for projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
A passive installed-sound speaker with low-impedance and 70/100 V transformer operation, requiring external amplification and the specified DSP.

Biamp Voltera A 300.4 Four-Channel 300W Amplifier. An amplifier option for 70/100 V operation. Select the correct transformer tap and keep the total speaker load within each channel's rating. Use upstream DSP for the required 75 Hz high-pass filter.
Biamp SPA-UBDX100-B Desono Speaker U-Bracket | Black. An optional matching U-bracket and ClickPlug kit for installations requiring an alternative to the standard ClickMount.
Installation
Provide the specified 75 Hz, 12 dB/octave high-pass filter, loudspeaker DSP and output limits. Match the speaker mode and channel load to the amplifier. Check bracket orientation, structural fixings, secondary retention and weather-resistant connection sealing. Confirm individual-versus-pair ordering and the exact pack on the quotation.
