What is the Biamp EX-S8-CM-B?
The Biamp Desono EX-S8-CM-B is a black 8-inch, two-way coaxial surface-mount loudspeaker for speech and music in commercial spaces. Its 8-inch driver provides a useful balance of voice projection and bass for distributed or fill coverage. This version includes the ClickMount pan-tilt bracket. Biamp Voltera D 1200.4 4-Channel DSP Amplifier. Amplifier option with DSP. Its nominal 300W per channel at 8 ohms fits the published amplifier range for one EX-S8-CM-B per channel. Confirm the final channel loading, power allocation and system routing with Corporate AV.
Installation
Use structural fixings appropriate to the supporting surface and the complete speaker-and-bracket weight. Set the ClickMount pan and tilt, lock the aiming position and route the cable as instructed. Choose 8-ohm or the correct 70V/100V tap before connection. Sum transformer taps by amplifier channel, allow the required headroom and load the manufacturer DSP preset and high-pass protection. Outdoor suitability depends on the full installation and cable sealing; IP ratings do not mean suitability for immersion.
