What is the Bose FreeSpace FS2C?
The Bose FreeSpace FS2C is a compact in-ceiling loudspeaker with a 2.25 inch (57 mm) driver, 16 W continuous power handling and 70 V / 100 V transformer taps, sold as a pair in white. It covers 150° and fits a 160 mm ceiling cutout, for background music and voice announcements in offices, retail stores and hospitality spaces across the UAE. It is certified to EN 54-24:2008 for voice alarm systems in buildings.
The Bose FreeSpace FS2C is the compact in-ceiling model of the Bose Professional FreeSpace FS loudspeaker line, built for background music and paging in commercial spaces. It has a 2.25 inch full-range driver, a frequency range of 83 Hz to 19 kHz and 150° coverage, and it connects to 70 V / 100 V distributed systems or directly at 16 Ω.

The engineered-plastics baffle with steel backcan comes in white similar to RAL 9003, has a rotatable, removable logo, and the current UL 1480A version can be painted to match the ceiling.

Recommended Amplifiers
For a single zone, the Bose Veritas 1100BH delivers 1 × 100 W at 70 V or 100 V and has built-in EQ presets for FreeSpace FS loudspeakers. Bose recommends it for FreeSpace loudspeakers up to 6 inch models.
For two zones or more speakers, the Bose Veritas 2160BH delivers 2 × 160 W at 70 V or 100 V and the same FreeSpace FS preset. Both Veritas models have a Bluetooth 5.0 input and are available in 230 V UK versions. Select the preset for the exact FS2C loudspeaker model during commissioning.
Recommended Tile Bridge
For suspended or drop ceilings, the Bose FreeSpace FS2C tile bridge (6-pack) is sold separately and is needed for suspended ceilings. It is not included with the FS2C.

Expandability
The FS2C can be mixed with other FreeSpace FS in-ceiling, surface-mount and pendant models on the same distributed line, and DesignMax subwoofers can be added for extra low-frequency output. Shared FS voicing keeps the sound consistent across models.
