What is the LG BU53RG?
The LG BU53RG is a 4K UHD short-throw laser projector for presentations, training and installed visual systems. Its 5,000 ANSI-lumen output, optical zoom and lens shift give an integrator useful options for matching the image to the room. Choose it using the screen width, lens distance and ambient light, rather than brightness alone. A DLP laser projector that forms the picture on a separately specified projection surface. It projects 3840 × 2160 UHD images using XPR processing; it should not be described as a native 4K imaging chip. Recommended Compatible Equipment
VSYS VPM-20-H Projector Mount. Optional VSYS VPM-20-H ceiling mount with a 35 kg rating and 130–470 mm drop range. Verify the projector's fixing pattern, mounting-arm reach, screw engagement, full load and ceiling structure before confirming fit.
VSYS VPM-20-02L Projector Mount. Optional VSYS VPM-20-02L telescopic ceiling mount rated for 35 kg with a 735–1135 mm extension range. Use where the required lens height suits this range, after checking fixing geometry, complete load and structural attachment.
Installation
Calculate lens-to-screen distance from image width and the 0.94–1.14 throw-ratio range. Confirm offset, lens-shift limits, screen aspect ratio and sightlines before drilling. Match the 9.7 kg projector and its underside fixing pattern to the VSYS mounting arms; load capacity alone is not a complete fit check. Specify structural fixings, cable routes, cooling and service access. Digital warping assists alignment but does not replace correct optical placement. Confirm the remote and regional accessory pack on the quotation.
