What is the Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 DANTE?
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 DANTE is a four-channel digital wireless receiver in a 19 inch rack housing with Dante network audio output and an integrated antenna splitter. Up to 4 units cascade to 16 channels from one antenna pair, with 1.9 ms latency and up to 88 MHz switching bandwidth, which suits Dante-based conference centres, hotels and auditoriums in the UAE.
It is the multi-channel rack receiver of the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital EW-DX range. It receives four EW-DX handheld, bodypack or table stand transmitters and sends all four channels to the audio network over Dante, so a DSP or mixer on the same network picks them up without analogue cabling. It has an internal auto-switching power supply with an IEC connection.

The Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec gives 1.9 ms latency and 134 dB dynamic range, and AES-256 plus Dante media encryption protect the audio.
