ProDVX panel PCs and signage displays in the UAE

ProDVX makes commercial touch panel PCs, signage displays and media players for room booking, self-service and digital signage, built for continuous 24/7 use. This collection covers ProDVX Android panel PCs (APPC series), Intel panel PCs (IPPC series), SD signage displays and the ABPC-4320 Android box PC, plus ProDVX accessories. CorporateAV.ae is a supplier of genuine ProDVX products in the UAE.

ProDVX hardware is the screen and computer; the room booking, queue or signage software runs on it. For larger signage screens, compare Digital Signage Displays; for freestanding self-service units, see Kiosks.

How to choose between ProDVX families

Android panel PCs (APPC)

The APPC series runs Android and suits room booking panels, control panels and simple interactive apps. The 10.1-inch APPC-10SLBe runs Android 13 with Google Mobile Services and Zero-touch deployment, on a Rockchip dual-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core Cortex-A53 processor with 4 GB of RAM. It adds NFC, a full RGB surround LED bar, PoE power and a non-glare screen.

Intel panel PCs (IPPC)

The IPPC series runs Windows 10 or 11 IoT Enterprise for software that needs a Windows platform, such as point of sale or enterprise apps. ProDVX makes it in 10, 15, 22, 24, 27 and 32-inch sizes with a 10-point PCAP touch screen and up to 500 cd/m² brightness. The 10.1-inch IPPC-10SLB adds PoE+, a surround LED bar and ChromeOS Flex certification.

Signage displays and box PCs

For screens that inform rather than take input, the SD series covers 10, 14, 15, 18 and 22-inch signage displays with up to 300 cd/m² brightness, rated for continuous 24/7 use and a 3 to 5 year product life. The ABPC-4320 is an Android 15 box PC that plays content on a separate display or monitor, with ports such as HDMI, RJ45, USB and GPIO.

Power, network and management

PoE and one-cable installation

Room panels are easiest to install with one network cable for power and data. The APPC-10SLBe is PoE compatible and the IPPC-10SLB supports PoE+, so both can run from the network switch without a socket at the door. Plan the switch's PoE budget for every panel on the floor.

Device management and security

Android panels with Google Mobile Services can be deployed remotely: the APPC-10SLBe supports Android Zero-touch deployment and receives Google Play Protect security updates. ProDVX also offers ProMGR device management for its panels, which helps IT update and monitor many devices at once.

Where ProDVX panels are used

Offices use 10-inch ProDVX panels beside meeting room doors as booking screens, where the LED bar shows from a distance whether a room is free; see Boardrooms & Meeting Rooms. Retail, healthcare and hospitality use larger IPPC panels for check-in, ordering and wayfinding, and SD displays for information screens; see Digital Signage & Video Walls. In UAE buildings, mount panels indoors and away from direct sun, as these are indoor commercial devices.

Installation and planning

Before ordering ProDVX hardware, check:

  • Software: confirm the booking, kiosk or signage app supports the chosen operating system.
  • Power: choose PoE models where there is no socket near the panel.
  • Mounting surface: glass, plasterboard and stands need different fixings.

Mount larger SD and IPPC displays with a rated VSYS wall mount or floor stand that matches the VESA pattern and weight.

Applications and technical planning

  • Meeting room booking

A 10-inch panel beside each meeting room door shows the booking and lights its LED bar to signal whether the room is free. PoE models such as the APPC-10SLBe need only one network cable.

  • Self-service and check-in

Reception desks, clinics and shops use larger IPPC touch panels for check-in, ordering and wayfinding, with up to 500 cd/m² brightness and a 10-point touch screen.

  • Small information screens

ProDVX SD signage displays from 10 to 22 inches show offers, schedules and directions where a large screen would not fit, rated for continuous 24/7 use.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between ProDVX APPC and IPPC panels?

ProDVX APPC panels run Android and IPPC panels run Windows on Intel processors. The APPC-10SLBe runs Android 13 with Google Mobile Services, while the IPPC series runs Windows 10 or 11 IoT Enterprise in 10 to 32-inch sizes.

Choose APPC for room booking and simple Android apps, and IPPC for software that needs Windows, such as point-of-sale or enterprise applications.

Can a ProDVX panel be used as a meeting room booking screen?

Yes. ProDVX positions its 10-inch panels for meeting room signage and booking. The APPC-10SLBe and IPPC-10SLB have a surround LED bar that can show room status, and both can be powered over the network: the APPC-10SLBe with PoE and the IPPC-10SLB with PoE+.

The booking itself comes from a compatible room booking app, so confirm the software supports the panel's operating system.

Are ProDVX panels designed for 24/7 use?

Yes. ProDVX states that the IPPC series is made to perform 24/7, that the APPC-10SLBe is designed with 24/7 use in mind, and that its SD signage displays are rated for continuous commercial use with a product life of 3 to 5 years.

Leave ventilation space around the panel and keep it out of direct sun, especially in glass corridors.

What are the specifications of the ProDVX APPC-10SLBe?

The ProDVX APPC-10SLBe is a 10.1-inch Android panel PC running Android 13 with Google Mobile Services. It uses a Rockchip processor with dual Cortex-A72 and quad Cortex-A53 cores and 4 GB of RAM.

It adds NFC for access control or payments, a full RGB surround LED bar, PoE power, a non-glare screen, Google Play Protect updates and Android Zero-touch deployment.

How bright are ProDVX panel PCs and signage displays?

ProDVX rates its IPPC Intel panel PCs at up to 500 cd/m² and its SD signage displays at up to 300 cd/m². That suits indoor reception areas, corridors and shops with normal lighting.

For bright shop windows or outdoor screens, a high-brightness or outdoor display is the better choice, as these panels are indoor devices.

What sizes do ProDVX SD signage displays come in?

ProDVX makes SD signage displays in 10, 14, 15, 18 and 22-inch sizes, with up to 300 cd/m² brightness and commercial-grade continuous use.

This collection lists the SD-10, SD-15, SD-18 and SD-22. They suit shelf-edge, counter and corridor information screens, where a large signage display would be too big.

What is the ProDVX ABPC-4320?

The ProDVX ABPC-4320 is a commercial Android 15 box PC that plays digital signage, wayfinding and similar content on a separate display or monitor.

ProDVX box PCs offer I/O such as USB 2.0, USB 3.0, GPIO, HDMI and RJ45. Use a box PC when the screen itself is a standard display without a built-in player.

Do ProDVX panels support Power over Ethernet?

Some models do. The APPC-10SLBe is PoE compatible and the IPPC-10SLB supports PoE+, so one network cable carries power and data to the panel.

PoE support differs between sizes and models, so check the exact model before planning a door-side installation without a power socket, and size the network switch for all panels.

How are many ProDVX panels managed by IT?

Android panels with Google Mobile Services can be enrolled with Android Zero-touch deployment, so new panels configure themselves on first start. The APPC-10SLBe supports Zero-touch and receives Google Play Protect security updates.

ProDVX also offers ProMGR device management for its panels. Plan the management tool before installing panels across several floors or sites.

Which ProDVX touch panel suits a self-service kiosk?

A larger IPPC panel usually suits a kiosk, because self-service apps often need Windows and a screen people can read standing up. ProDVX makes the IPPC series in sizes up to 32 inches with a 10-point PCAP touch screen.

The IPPC-22-6000, IPPC-24 and IPPC-32 in this collection suit check-in, ordering and wayfinding. Mount them on a stand or wall rated for the panel's weight.
